JTB Rail Spike Anchoring Grout is an inorganic, non-toxic anchoring compound characterized by rapid setting, high early strength, controlled expansion, and suitability for cold-weather application. It eliminates the need for heating required by traditional sulfur-based systems, thereby preventing thermal cracking in concrete sleepers and bridge sleepers while extending spike service life. This product complies with standard TB/T2093-2002.
• High Early Strength & High Final Strength
• Reliable Self-Flowability
• Micro-Expansion
• Reliable Durability
• Cold Application & Environmentally Friendly
• Rail spike anchoring for railway sleepers;
• Anchor bolt grouting for equipment foundations;
• Rock bolt anchoring for tunnels and underground works;
• Concrete structure reinforcement anchoring
• Substrate preparation: Remove dust and debris from the reserved holes.
• Place the anchor frame: Use a trowel (round head) to hold the bottom of the anchor frame at a 45-degree angle to the reserved hole, and then place the anchor frame in the hole. The opening part of the anchor frame positioning plate faces the sleeper shoulder to facilitate the placement of the baffle seat.
• Mixing and stirring: Weigh the JTB Rail Spike Anchoring Grout and 12% of water by weight, and stir them thoroughly for about 3 minutes.
• Construction: Use a grouting spoon (or a mixing spoon) to pour the well-mixed grout into the reserved holes from the middle of the anchor frame, about 2 centimeters from the top of the holes. After grouting, the insulating bolts and road studs should be rotated and inserted as soon as possible. The overflowing grout should be scraped off and flattened with a scraper (flat head).
• Maintenance: It can be used on the road one day after anchoring. If conditions permit, spray for maintenance one to three days after anchoring.
Packaging specification: 50 kg ± 1 kg per bag, 25 kg ± 1 kg per bag.
Properties: Non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, and non-explosive.
Can be transported as general cargo.
Storage: Store in a dry and cool place.
Shelf life: 6 months.
The amount of slurry mixed at one time should be used up within 30 minutes. Mixing time should be 2 to 5 minutes.
During application, carefully control the fluidity and thickness. If fluidity decreases during pouring, a small amount of water may be added and mixed before continuing use.
During winter construction (lowest temperature above -10℃), the anchoring agent can be mixed with hot water at 40 to 50℃. If necessary, cover with plastic film or other insulation materials to prevent freezing.
