JTB Oil-Based Mold Release Agent is a high-performance solvent-based release agent. It forms a tough, physical barrier film between the formwork and the concrete, making it ideal for concrete projects that demand good release performance and high-quality surface finishes.
• Reliable release performance
• Superior concrete surface finish
• Corrosion & rust resistant
• Reliable weather resistance & adaptability
• Cost-effective
• Demolding for steel formwork, concrete molds, cast-in-place concrete products, pipes, pipe piles, bridge precast components, and prefabricated building elements
• Template cleaning: Before applying the coating, thoroughly remove all concrete residues, cement slurry, oil stains and dust from the surface of the template. Ensure that the template is free from rust and concrete scale.
• Mix thoroughly: Before use, thoroughly stir the contents in the bucket until well combined. If dilution is required, mix with water according to the recommended ratio for use.
• Painting operation: It can be carried out by spraying, brushing or rolling. The paint should be evenly applied to the surface of the template to ensure a continuous and complete film formation without any missed areas or flowing.
• Waiting for film formation: After application, let it stand and dry naturally. Once the solvents have evaporated and a uniform film layer has formed, then proceed to pour the concrete.
• Pouring concrete: Once the coating is complete, normal operations for reinforcing bar binding and concrete pouring can be carried out. Coated formwork shall be protected from rain. If exposed to rain, reapply the release agent.
