JTB-503 Epoxy Steel Plate Bonding Adhesive offers high bonding strength, behaving as if cast-in-place. It cures at room temperature with less shrinkage, exhibits good temperature resistance, and allows welding after embedded rebar installation. The adhesive also provides outstanding durability and weatherability, along with excellent resistance to aging and aggressive media such as acids, alkalis, and water.
• High strength & strong adhesion
• High toughness, impact resistant
• Aging resistant
• Acid & alkali resistant
• Low shrinkage
• Bonding precast beams, columns, and other structural elements;
• Strengthening cracks in various components;
• Bonding steel plates to beams to enhance load capacity;
• Adhesive applications for brackets, stairs, sidewalks, and other building & finishing materials
• Surface preparation: Grind and treat the concrete surface to make the bonding surface dry and free of oil stains and dust, and remove rust from the surface of the steel plates to be bonded.
• Mixing and stirring: Before preparing the adhesive, stir the components A and B evenly and respectively. Then, weigh the components A and B in a ratio of 3:1 and pour them into a prepared clean container. Stir thoroughly until the color is uniform.
• Construction: Apply the well-mixed adhesive to the treated concrete and steel plate bonding surfaces respectively, with a thicker layer in the middle and a thinner layer at the edges. Then, bond the steel plates to the predetermined positions. After the steel plates are bonded, they should be immediately supported with clamps, fixed in position with tools such as bolts, and appropriate pressure should be applied to ensure that the glue just extrudes from the edge of the steel plates. After curing, remove the pressure-fixing facilities and it can be put into service under load.
Storage: Keep sealed in a dry and clean warehouse at an ambient temperature of 0℃ to 40℃.
Shelf life: When stored at normal temperature, all properties of this product will not change significantly within 12 months. If it exceeds 12 months, it can still be used after passing the inspection.
Transportation: This product is non-hazardous and can be shipped by air, rail, sea, and road.
Note: Component B is prone to discoloration during long-term storage, which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect the basic performance and use of the product.
