JTB Crack-Resistant Mortar is primarily applied to exterior walls and the surface of external wall insulation boards, where it is used in combination with reinforcing mesh to form a protective layer. It provides effective protection against water penetration, cracking, and impact. The material is characterized by increasing hardness upon repeated exposure to water after curing, making it also suitable for interior wall plastering in kitchens and bathrooms.
• High waterproof performance
• High crack resistance
• High wear resistance
• High impact resistance
• High durability
• Exterior walls & insulated panels with mesh reinforcement for waterproofing, crack & impact resistance.
• Interior plastering for kitchens and bathrooms.
• Surface preparation: Clean the wall surface by removing dust, loose material, and other debris to ensure the substrate is clean and sound. Where necessary, scrape back or repair the substrate to achieve a level surface.
• Mixing ratio and stirring: In the JTB Crack-Resistant Mortar, add 14.5% of its weight of water and stir. It is recommended to use mechanical stirring. After stirring evenly, let it stand for five minutes and then stir again. The well-mixed materials need to be used up within 2 hours.
• Construction: Use a stainless steel scraper to apply the JTB Crack-Resistant Mortar on the base surface, then add a grid cloth and lay it flat on the base surface. Apply and press it firmly. The thickness of the wall surface construction should be uniform, generally controlled between 2 and 5mm. Press the base surface tightly to ensure its flatness.
• Maintenance: After the construction is completed, water maintenance should be carried out. The water should be thoroughly applied, 2 to 3 times a day for 2 to 3 consecutive days, to promote the hydration reaction of cement, enhance the structural strength and strength of mortar, and at the same time reduce alkali efflorescence.

Setting a 40-tonne compressor on its foundation looks simple until you measure the gap: typically 25 to 80 millimetres between the underside of the steel baseplate and the top of the concrete. That gap carries the entire operating load, plus vibration, thermal movement and occas...
READ MOREA base plate sits 25 mm above a concrete foundation, and every tonne that presses, vibrates, or torques the equipment above it will pass through that gap. Fill it with ordinary mortar and the mix dries, shrinks, and pulls away from the steel. Leave it as-cast concrete and the co...
READ MOREA concrete patch usually fails where the new material meets the old one. Unmodified cement-sand mortars shrink as they dry, bond weakly to the prepared substrate, and open a hairline gap that admits water and chlorides — the very corrosion cycle you were trying to stop. Polymer-...
